(1) Subject to this N and the rules made under this Act, a qualified person as written in the schedule shall submit an application to the council in the prescribed format after paying the prescribed fee to register his name in the register book.
(2) Upon examination of the application under sub-section (1), if the council finds that it is proper, the name of such person shall be temporarily registered in the register book for two years and a certificate thereof will be issued.
(3) Registration under sub-section (2) Among the persons whose names are temporarily registered in the book, those who are in the service of the Government of Nepal and who have gone to study on the scholarship received by the Government of Nepal must practice medicine for a period specified by the Ministry of Health. After doing medical business, the council will permanently register the name in the registration book and issue a certificate of the same.
(5) The name of the person who has worked for the period specified in accordance with sub-section (3), on the recommendation of the Ministry of Health, the council will permanently register the name in the registration book and issue a certificate of the same. .
(6) In addition to the qualification as written in the schedule, if the council recommends that a person other than the qualification as written in the schedule has obtained the minimum qualification in the modern medical system in the opinion of the council, the Ministry of Health shall be subject to this section and instructs to register the name of such person in the registration book. The name will be registered in the registration book and a certificate will be issued.
(7) The arrangements regarding the registration of the name of foreign nationals in the council will be as prescribed.
